Guard of Honour for Maxie McManamon

June 12, 2024 1088 Views

Maxie Mc Manamon as a player, coach, manager, organiser and chairman was an integral part of the establishment of Templeogue Synge Street GAA Club. Some here will have known Maxie personally, some might only have heard his name, he always preferred a low key presence. Everybody in TSS today benefits from the work Maxie did over all of the years as player, coach, manager, organiser and chairman.

Maxie McManamon's funeral is on in St Judes Church https://maps.app.goo.gl/vAxJWMk77mRMppXJ6 at 11am on Thursday (tomorrow).
We want to have as big a Guard of Honour as possible on Thursday at his funeral. He deserves that appreciation for all he did for TSS.

Anybody from TSS able to make the Guard of Honour before the funeral mass, please be there at least 20-25 minutes before 11am.
We will simply throw TSS jerseys over our shoulder and form a Guard of Honour between the hearse and the door of the church.
We will do the same after the mass, probably c.12noon leaving the church.

If you can only make one of the times mentioned above, thats ok too.

If you are able to be there for either of those Guards of Honour, it would be greatly appreciated.
